Eamon Ore-Giron’s abstract, geometric compositions draw on artistic traditions from across time and cultures. His works are reminiscent of Italian Futurism, Peruvian goldwork, Byzantine icons, technical illustrations, and other seemingly disparate visual traditions. The artist opposes the traditional approaches of art history in his Infinite Regress series, instead suggesting shared heritage of forms and ideas.

The title refers to a philosophical principle of the same name which describes an unending series of elements in which each element leads to or informs the next. Each of Ore-Giron’s paintings in this series is informed by the one preceding it.
